People

We are a warm and
optimistic bunch who will always go the extra mile
(or late night) if that’s what
it takes to make a job even
the tiniest bit better.

We work hard to build
good, friendly and healthy relationships; both in the
studio and with clients.

Dan Witchell — Creative Director Read Close

Dan graduated from Camberwell with his work already published in Creative Review. He then spent 3 years as Creative Director of a broadcast design company, before establishing Proud Creative in 2005.

As a founder of Kemistry Gallery in Shoreditch, Dan can take credit for breaking Parra in the UK, whilst also bringing over Geoff McFetridge, Gregory Gilbert-Lodge and Experimental Jetset, not to mention his support of homegrown talent - UVA, Daniel Eatock and James Joyce of One Fine Day.

Roger Whittlesea — Head of Production Read Close

Roger began his production career in commercials, working with Richard Phillips, the multi-award winning writer/director of the Maureen Lipman BT campaign. Having survived 5 years of working with Richard with sanity largely intact, producing for anyone else has often seemed straightforward (if occasionally less 'interesting').

He has subsequently gone on to gain 10 years production experience in commercials, pop promos, branding and design - with responsibility for budgeting, scheduling and facilitating productions with budgets from £10k to £950k. He has produced five overseas channel re-brands in the last few years and has had work awarded at the Cannes Lions, Soho Shorts, Promax UK and D&AD.

Joshua Baker — Web & Software Development (Associate) Read Close

Josh is a website architect, passionate technologist and regular collaborator with Proud Creative on digital development and online marketing projects.

He has a degree in photography and started as an intern at SHOWStudio, working with Nick Knight.
