Slingback
Slingback is a start-up production company specialising in television commercials. Founder and director Susie Roberson wanted to build a company where creative talent could be nurtured. The brief asked for a memorable brand that is modern, playful, understated and non-precious. Deliverables included a full website with client-friendly CMS and stationery set – letterhead, fax headers, business cards, compliment slips, envelope stickers and DVD sleeves. We created an identity based on the symbols of movie playback; 'play', 'forward', 'rewind', 'fast forward' and 'pause'. These elements are playfully gathered together to make a repeat pattern with Slingback subtly incorporated into the scene. A mono palette was used, with stickers giving a laid-back, instant feel.
