Getty Images Flickr Collection
The Getty Images Flickr collection is a collaboration between two huge brands of hosted imagery. We were tasked with creating a campaign approach that would enable Getty Images to grow the collection through their existing creative database; encouraging designers and creatives to submit imagery.
The concept we developed was built on the idea of bringing hidden talents to a wider audience. The messaging was about leveraging the kudos of being invited by Getty Images to submit work.
We created web banners, an email campaign with staged messaging, email signatures for agency reps; all supported with an A3 print piece folded to A5, printed on Imagine.
Initially targeting the UK and US, the campaign was so successful that it was translated into 8 languages and rolled out into a global initiative.
As a result of the campaign, submissions doubled and traffic to the submissions page increased by 141%. The email campaign also had open rates and CTR's that were double the Getty Images average.
